Plitvice NP, Croatia 2014

September 2014 I made a small trip to Croatia to visit one of the natural highlights of the country, Plitvice Lakes NP. This park has been added to the UNESCO world heritage in 1979 and is famous for its lakes and cascades. Due to the light, minerals and organisms in the water the lakes have distinctive colours that can range from azure to green, blue or grey.
